It's something we are testing out to distinguish between various group members (admin, paid members, guest, etc)...

I'm just gonna move this to the Support section...

Perhaps the higher powers are testing adding new info to the Sidebar, such as TPC member Status or ride info...:thumbup:

yes it is a test and tpc member icons will be returning, i hope we still have the blue one from before cuz i liked that one...

You're right, the visual definition betwen members and guests needs to be a little stronger.

Make up some icons for TPC Members, Guest, Moderators, and Admins. We have too many people with suggestions and too few with answers.

Well I have no graphics skillz but I am happy to give it a shot! Give me details on the picture type and size and I'll get right on it!

Maybe the people, with the time and initiative, who could help you the most don't have administrative capabilities...

The graphic needs to be about the same size as the one that's already there. Those ones are 14x53 pixels. They can be any shape really. I had originaly planned on putting them beside the name like the old board, but since everyone has to have one, I don't think it'll look as good. They need to be pretty small though, since they suck up bandwidth when they're displayed.

Try to make up something to replace the ugly TPC icon for the read/unread forums as well. That would be helpful. If you have anything you want to test, just send them to me and I'll throw them up for a while.

It bugged me that there was nothing differentiating members from non members like there used to be. There was a certain status with having the 'TPC member" logo beside your name.

Unfortunately unless I add some processing to the code, it means everyone gets an image, or noone gets an image.

I have ICQ on my laptop, but I'm not logged on very much with it. Only if my work connection is down.

Ya, that's pretty cool. It doesn't look the the background is transparant, though. I got the original graphic from HoloType for the TPC letters, but I can't seem to load them for some reason. To add to the confusion when I try to forward his e-mail to others my Outlook Express freezes.

Lookin' good, Joel. The new posts one is a little too large, though.

I'd like to make the TPC logo a little sharper, too. If I can figure out what wrong with this file, I can distribute a clearer one to work with.

Sure...do you think I should add more border to the top of the images so it sits lower from the post count? Also If I cut out the fringe colours it should be clearer...

Yeah looks tight! I don't think the TPC needs to be clearer...also do you like guest the way it is? Why don't you just upload an entirely transparent .gif? then they would have nothing...which I think would be better...

The current ones are 33x27. I'd rather not have it much bigger than that.
