ok i was looking into a DC header.........but now i was wondering is there a big difference between a Ceramic Coated and a Stainless Steel one....besides the price which is way more for the SS but is it worth it..plus i was also wondering the price for a SS one the best quote i got was 850 with taxes now do TPC members get a better deal than 850 with taxes in?

CC headers will stay cooler... SS looks nice at first until they get broken in and turn a brownish color. SS will last longer than CC (apparently). And yes TPC members get a verrryyy good price...

Why? Planning to sign up? Send an email to memberships@hondaprelude.to . We are working a couple of bugs before posting application page.

$850 is actually a lot from what I've seen for headers, even if your not a member.

By the price you're giving I'd say you shop at EAP. They suck.
SS headers turn a nice bluish purple, but there's a slight browning...nothing nasty like Keith's describing...I have em..if I can get a digicam, I'll take a pic and post it...

Dibs I'll give you 200$ for them! ;)
I was in that stage where I'm deciding to go either with CC or SS DC headers. But I chose to go with CC. Here's why..
1) Cheaper than SS.
2) Stay cooler.
3) Colour will not fade.
4) Should have seen how the flanges rust on SS. (Ugly sight)
5) Same performance compare to SS.
Hope this helps.

You mean you thought you had headers like those. Those are Bobby's SS headers that cost alot more than the DC SS headers. Mugen anyone?

silent_munk....just lookin out for you. But if you want a good deal on performance parts just try haggling and bargaining with a performance shop. Correct me if i'm wrong...affiliate pricing if your a TPC member still earns the shop a decent profit or else they wouldn't do it at all. In the end business is business. So I recommend just haggling and your likely IMO to get the exact same price or maybe even lower. This is in the mean time while you have not yet become a member.
But I can see why being a member has it's advantages with all of the install days and meets these guys have. I think I will join before the first meet to check things out.
