short search?

can we allow for 3 letter searches? i don't know how many times i've tried to search for jlo or win xp and it wont' let me :D

No. I wish we could too. The search functionality is already too bulky in vBulletin. It takes up alot of processing and there's a huge search index/table. The 3 letter limit is hardcoded into the software.

I'm too lazy to test this but does it do partial word searches too, or does it just do whole word matches?
