Read/Unread thread thing...

I find it really annoying that if I take a few minutes writing a lengthy responses in one thread, all the other threads and forrums appear as read because the software assumes I've been gone long enough.

I only get to Off Topic in time to actually see what's new about once a week.

There's not much we can do about that. The board assumes that theres a certain time from your visit that messages are no longer 'new'. I think it's 900 seconds. It's annoying to me too.

I'll keep looking for hacks to change the new message flag functionality.

That's kind of dumb. Seems to me that would be something you would want to keep user defined? Thanks anyway.
