View Full Version : K&N Filter - How Long to Dry?

I'm cleaning my K&N tomorrow when my front bumper gets removed to be painted...but I want to know how long it will take until I can re-oil the filter? I will be letting it sit to dry of course...

I think it's overnight.. I would leave it just to be shure .:)

Yea, it takes several hours. The best plan is to do it at night and put it back on in the morning.

Just let the filter air-dry overnight. The worse thing you can do to it is force it to dry. Because it's cotton, and will shrink.

Go to crappy tire and buy the K&N Cleaning Kit.. it's about 10 bux... dont use olive oil or anything :D

yup the K&N cleaning kit has the soak-in cleaner and the filter oil to reapply.

I went in to get my filter and snapped some pics of the car with the bumper off. There was some really HOT girl cleaning the interior of my car, so I took my time getting the filter off so I could shoot the sh!t with her ;) Good times...I wonder if she knows that people say it's hard to have sex in the back of of a 4th gen...hmmm:thumbup:

never did it in a 4g but i know that its hard in the back of a 5g.....my face was pressed up against the back window:thumbup:

bro im too tall...and the chick had her head out the sunroof at one point....the bottom line is that ludes are not made to schpoff.....i should go invest in one of those vans from who's the boss and put some matresses in the back

hahaha its been a while since i reid anythign in the lude.. its possible.. just nto very comftorble..

Jones Auto Body...but you's have to get some bodywork to see her. I saw her again today, she's still cute. And my car is very clean...the naked pictures in my glovebox were a nice touch..:omg:

hahaha, did it in the 5th gen in the front seat.. helps when your g/f is only 105lbs ;)
