I have the Viper 800ESP and it's a good alarm, nothing special. I still have to install the automatic window and sunroof rollup, that'll be a handy feature...
I haven't had any false alarms, so I'd recommend it.

Sorry RiceRocket, Prestige does not own Viper. Prestige is Audiovox.
Viper is owned by DEI, or Directed Electronics Inc.
DEI sells many Brands of alarms, such as Viper, Python, Sidewinder, Hornet, Wasp, ValetStart, Automate and Your Valet.
Directed bought Clifford, and has added it to their line of products. Early in the acquisitition Clifford units were exactly that. Today, they are repackaged DEI units.
DEI also this year purchased A/D/S, PPI and Orion.
DEI alarms are considered to be the top units in the market, with the VIPER 800 ESP being a top of the line unit.
FYI: Viper 800 ESP is identical to a PYTHON 3000 ESP
