slooow tpying while posting

for some reason there is sometimes a lag while I am creating or replying to a post..it only happens sometimes and it only happens on this board.

I have to sit there and wait for the screen to catch up to what I'm typing.

Any ideas?

That happened before when we had the Import something banner.. Ever since we got rid of it, no problem for me.

Hmm..maybe it's banner specific for me as well...right now it's the talongtire.com one with the blue tire tread....no problems.

It's Import-addiction.com that's killing me! can we get rid of it or have them change it?

ok i'm writing this with the import addiction. No problem here. Unless you guys are typing faster than 50-60 wpm. Oh and I'm just typing in the window at the bottom, not on the separate page.

Yeah I don't have any problems with the import addiction banner.. Is this your connection at work? Is it not caching it? :scratch:

It would be my machine thats not caching it I guess if that was an issue. I'm typing with it now and it's so slow, I'm waiting for my screen to catch up. I don't think processor speed and RAM is an issue as my new laptop is pretty kick ass.

oh well, I guess I'll just refresh until I don't get that banner.

I think I can type an avg speed so 80-90wpm is probably out of the question...I ain't that fast.
