Well, initially I was not interested in nitro at all. But with some of the managment features out for them now it is becoming more appealing. Of course that isn't to say that there aren't pitfalls in using it.

i read on preludeonline that some dude blew his engine using a 55 shot and like 3 or 4 of his buddys....and people on the board wee like " ya me too" or "ya my buddy blew his motor"


so u might wanna reconsider unless u have ur engine done to the "t"......i wouldnt risk it...if u want the balls, just save up for a turbo or jrsc......thats what im gonna do.......nitrous is bs, ....its cheating if u sk me

Well, I'm not all gung ho hardcore about it, and the reason I'd want to do it is because it is CHEAP. I'd be interested in talking to the people who blew their engines....N02 doesn't blow motors, people blow motors, etc.! But I'm fully conscious of the problem with N02 and if I hear enough negative anecdotal evidence I will forget about it.

About turbo and JSRC, funds funds funds, I would be all over BOOST had I the money to do it properly. I think my next big upgrade will be an EV07:thumbup: so until then I'll be dragging around my rear wheels like a loser! j/k.

Well I know a lil about NO2, the nature of the thread was for more of a visceral sense of what No2 feels like. As for the risks involved I'm aware of it. I justed wnated to know if anyone has felt the no2 kick them in their pant(ie)s.

Haven't experienced any NO2 but last week a guy pulled up beside me and was saying he had a SC in his little TRD Corolla...he said 200hp flywheel so almost the same as our car but a lot lighter...it was rush hour so we couldn't test his theory...but I would have been sad to lose to that...

i am not expert, but i think most people blew their engine because of mis-shift while at full throttle, ie 3rd to 2nd.
i think if you shift carefully, or upgrade your ignition to control the activation of the nitrous, nitrous should pretty safe.

JOEL... was it a brown 4dr corrolla with a ****y ass hood scoop thingy on it?? if so.. he will kick your ass... i know that guy and that car is RETARDED... its got a stand alone engine managment and ****.. dont race him.. its not your average grocery getter... look out for him... the car has some stickers on it.. black windows... chinese guy driving with some funky hair.. hehe his name is eric... he's from woodstock/london... i knwo he ran the car last year and did some stupid times... ill see if i can get him to come out on the 6th

yea i think doug (munju) had a 75 or 90 shot...

he blew his engine tho, and only recently did he get his car working again...not sure the cause of the blown engine, but i'm assuming he got a lil too trigger happy :D
