OK i have a 1997 prelude SH and i know that it has ATTS but i have heard that it also has a LSD now are both these the same. the reason im asking is because last year i put a hi flow cat in my car and had to change the CO2 sencor and ever since then my ATTS light is on, now im not worried about my ATTS working im more worried about my LSD working,
My car is lowerd and i find that my ATTS does not work that good anymore since it's lowerd so i could care less if it works, just worried about my hole shot(LSD).
And how do you test your ATTS anyway(the light doesn't tell me much)
Thanks much appreciated.

There's no LSD and there's really no way of replacing the ATTS with an LSD without spending far more money than it's worth.
There's a procedure in the Helms manual for determining what the ATTS light is complaining about, with a list of codes to check against, similar to checking your check engine light. If you can find someone with the manual you can find the problem in about 10 minutes.

I do not beleive that there is any real way to test the ATTS. You just have to compare driving your car with a base model while accelerating through curves. The SH model is all about handling and I think that once you drive a base model and an SH model you should be able to tell the the difference.
The ATTS unit is comprised of many components (there are sensors at all your wheels and steering wheel plus other things)
I'd get it checked right away if I were. (You don't want to have your ATTS breaking down, (the main unit I think costs 5000$ !!!) )
You should have resolved the problem right away.

I have heard that my ATTS was good for the traction of the line i no it helps with the handling, can i still get an LSD put on my car, will it help with holeshot, and what do they cost, is it worth it> Thanks

Hey charles, i don't think you have a good understanding of what the ATTS does... I recommend you go to the FAQ section and read the nice post from XxXPreludeXxX "To Sh or to Not SH". It gives a little detail about what the ATTS is.
