PM is messed up

1) My % full indicator bar does no work worth beans. It's at like 40% when my inbox is full. I think it's happening to everyone cause of all the full box posts lately

2) Whenever I get aq PM, the pop up says I have 3 new messages, when I have 2 it says I have 4.

what is up with that?

I think there is also a max # of msg's when your inbox becomes full too... on TCC we're allowed 150 msg's and i'm not sure how many bytes... or maybe the %age bar is based on the # of msgs? Dunno, I only have one ore 2 in it at a time usually anyway... hehe

the popups problem sounds like your proxy or pc is caching the home page. the code hasnt changed, and as far as i know it is working properly.

edited, hmm... are you sure you've set the page to 'show messages from: the beginning'?

It happenned again...I've erased all my pm's and am at zero percent from 18.5%

I've looked into this problem on the vBulletin support forum. There have been intermitent complaints about this happening, but I can't find any solutions. The problem is that it's intermitent and hard to track. By the time I take the time to log in as someone else and check the admin log everything is fine again.

In order for a vBulletin support person to look at this problem for us, we'll have to get rid of all hacks and run the board as delivered for a short time. It's going to make people complain even more. If I can't find an adequate fix or an answer to why it's happening by next week, I'll be getting rid of all hacks, checking to see if the problem persists, and if it does, getting a vBulletin support person to look into it for us.

whenever i used to get a PM a box would pop up automatically, i never changed my settings in the user cp, but now when i get a PM it doesnt pop up ne more automatically........ne ideas y? i checked my user cp and the settings are the same.....

We have updated to the latest release of vBulletin, and Cal has redone the PM hacks with slightly different versions. Hopefully this will cure our inconsistant PM problems. If anyone is still having problems, please post the details.
