Has anyone used Teins coilovers on there lude?
Thoughts on the Tein HR's or is a spring/shock combo easier?
Thanks

skiptomylou has Tien HR on his 5th gen...

very stiff ride...

but at least you'll have height adjustment...

i'd rather spend the extra coin on the HA's to also have stiffness adjustability

I have Zeal funtion B 6 coilover. And it's really good. It got height adjustment and stiffness adjustment too. Can Tein slam our ludes ?

I was considering the HR's but the HA's are not that much more, at least our member prices aren't, and you definitely want stiffness adjustability. I believe Grant said that the HR's are equal to HA's on 80% stiff.
Btw, for the guys with HA's what setting do you have them on?

Yeah the HR is really really stiff.........i think it's a little too stiff for me (just drive to work, school and back), maybe i'm going to sell them in the summer
I think it can slam the lude, but i didn't lower mine THAT low :)

I thought HR was the non-adjustable shocks (not coilovers)?

HR's are height adjustable , but not damping adjustable....
I think i'm correct.....but i've been coding this damn OS for like 30 hrs already...ahhhh

Yes Tein-HR coilovers are pretty much the same as the HA's. Heigh adjustable but no damper stiffness control.

To answer you question, If you remove the tender springs the Teins cna put you car down on the frame rails.. The only problem with going too low is you end up driving with a max speed of about 40 kms 'cause every bump on the road will casue your car to bottom... or you'll end up throwing sparks and flattening your cat or something...
