attachments

i need help with posting attachments....
do my attatched images have to on a web site?
can i uplod them from my computer? help plz

when you reply to a post, under the window where you type in your reply there is a browse button. You use that button to locate the file you want to attach. Afterwards all u do is pretty submit reply.

if you don't want to do that you can have your files hosted on another server and use the code [ img ] url of the file [ /img ] you'll be able to attach images like how the picture in your signature shows up.

Yasha, attaching is usually done with files on your own computer. If you want to "link" a file on another server that supports that like future photo online, use the img function.

thx guys/girls....ive done what u guys have told me to do and it doesnt work...it only works when i post it from another server with the img command. But if i wanted to upload a file from my computer it doesnt appear at all...the name of the file appears in the submit box but it doesnt appear as a pic:mad: ...do the pics have to be a specific size or format?:confused:

is it a .jpg? or is it a .bmp or .gif....I think it only posts jpegs....
