Just got back from a chilly, off and on rainy day from the first St. Louis Prelude meet of the season. The turn out was good considering this ain't TO and there is no actually St. Louis Prelude club... We started off a park and then headed over to another parking lot for pictures. Then when to a restaurant to eat. Of course there was sounds of VTECs all over the place on the way there. Here are a couple of pics...

It's almost ALL show + bolt on motors. Jen, with the orange 4th gen and was running the show, is going to slap on a turbo before the National Prelude meet.
There are some 4th gen who swapped over to the H22A side. Not too many techies in the group but I'm sure everyone will begin to learn and share amoungst each other.

We are going to check her suspension out on an install day (not yet detremined yet since we need a garage with air tools).
So far we have to install -> 3-4 suspensions, Throttle body and Intake manifold, pulleys, white face gauges, and who knows what else...

If they were Koni yellows I would say whe had the perches on upside down..

Nope...they were Tokicos. It only has one perch. If she's being cheap, I guess she could go old school and cut the springs, but I wouldn't recommend it.

03-31-2003, 12:19 PM
okay ............
the Orange is lamborghini orange arancio atlas
Those are Suspenion Technique Springs (not sparco) with Tokico HP struts ....I dunno why I have such a gap in the front :dunno: but it will get fixed soon hopefully. I am not trying to be cheap but when you don't have the money you don't have the money. simple as that.
I have done all the bolt ons besides a turbo which is my next mod, but because of my money shortage I dont think its going to happen anytime soon but I do have a turbo sittin in my garage waiting to be put on, the more that I think about it and I talk to Andy Lardner with the red 4g turbo h23 setup, I really want to build my motor and have everything (cams, gears, metal head gasket, forged pistons, sleeves etc....) and put it all in at once.
Keith

Don't worry Jen, we'll figure out the gap when we have the install day. Where are your pics? Email them to me and I'll host them!

With all your asian friends? :D
Hey James was telling me about your problem with your rpm gauge.. does it just bounce around all the time or just occasionally? Have you done any mods that would touch the ECU?
grlielude
03-31-2003, 12:33 PM
no mods near the ecu..........I think its my cam sensor though, it only happens occasionally more so when its warmer outside than cold. the engine idles fine and doesn't bounce just the gauge..............so its either a sensor or a ground behind my dash (yay 11 hour job!)
Keith
03-31-2003, 01:43 PM
Could be near the ECU or in the engine too... no?

no no no, I thought it was the ECU but if it was it would make the engine idle funny like it had a vaccum leak or a pinched valve cover gasket, the engine idles fine, its just the tach that does it, nothing else.

They are very sticky and very cheap (price wise) but I'll be surprised if it will last you 2 summers. There have been some complaints of road noise too.

Yup get used to that.. AEM kit right? :P
If this battery keeps going as well swap your alternator pulley to the Unorothodx Racing one. Pretty much the same diameter as the stock just lighter. Dimming and other related BS will drop to pretty much nil.

She fell out of both the race and import scene, but she still drives around in her 4th gen 'Lude. Don't have a direct link of her pic, but here ya go...
