Anybody else need a TPC 'Hondata style' intake manifold gasket anyone? I know I have to get one for Jen but I want to see if anybody else needs one before I have Grant just ship me one only.
Cost?
50$USD shipped.
What does it look like?

As you can see, the hole is already drilled out for the coolant line.

Here is a picture of it on Jen's H22 head.

What does it do? Read this...

What makes the TPC one better than the Hondata gasket?
It's made out of a better stronger plastic, thicker than the Hondata version and it's cheaper!
How hard is it to install?
Well, it will cost more than the gasket itself. It would take a skilled mechanic about 3-4 hours. But I would be willing to give whoever a hand getting it installed. I'm going to tackle this job with Jason at the next install day.
Let me know if you are interested in getting one too.

When do you want the money by? How do we pay? I'll go for it if i get some help installing...

Me thinks that ain't a coolant line but an EGR line.

Me thinks you aren't interested in getting one.
Me thinks you don't live in STL either.

I wouldn't think it would take that long to losen the intake manafold and slide that gasket in place. But hell what do i know.

It's a b!tch. Remember it's attached to the block and it's not so easy to get to the lower intake manifold.
James, you told me that last time when I asked you! Make your mind up foo!
Cory, I don't think you understand what this does. It's not an easy mod and I would help whomever install it but you are going to have to do the majority of the work.
Don't forget that we need gasket remover, new gaskets for the upper IM and butterfly plate and a bottle of coolant too.

IDK... depends on Jen who is the only one who has express real interest. I can't get anything other than for the H22 block.

Actually.. Removing the manifold isn't half as bad as trying to scrape the gasket off the head. And for you prelude owners... OH MAN... Good luck especially since the manifold is somewhat tucked UNDER the cowl. It's already bad enough in a Civic.
Actually.. I'm interested, but I think I'm in Grant's neck of the woods. MAybe I'll just PM him.

If you get it Cory, you have to think about who is installing it... it is a 3 hr job for a mechanic. A BIG job.

I had to sell one.. I don't think Cory and Jen is going to install one anytime soon and I'm getting hit with demands for these things (without even advertisiing). Anyhow, I'm getting another shipment sent this week so no worries.
