Marking a forum as read.

Is there anyway we can have this done automatically everytime we leave the forum like on the last board? Or do we have to do this ourselves manually? If we have to do it manually, is there a way to go to the main menu after doing this, instead back to the forum you're in? Wouldn't that save bandwith?

there may be a setting somewhere so this is done automatically. i'll have to check it out...

yes this is also really bothering me! I always keep clicking back into a forum that I have already read!

this is the way that all vb boards work. I've never noticed cuz I dont really refresh PO as often as I do here. the developers say it would be too resource expensive to do it any other way...

Hmm.. I don't know much about web programming.. but I have to click once to mark all as read, then it refreshes and then I have to click again to go back to the Main view.. seems like I'm doing the update twice... oh well, if that's the way it's got to be..
