Isn't that clear on the other side of 270? Does Creve Coeur Cine (which is behind Macaroni Grill) have any showings of Kill Bill? That'd be convenient.
Keith

I concur.

I didn't find anything wrong with it. Dunno about what Mr. Lee thought of it though. As for Creve Coeur 12 Cinema, I can't seem to pull them up on the AMC website, and their movie line (314-514-1401) is busy.

Chris said that those seats sucked....
Chris

I like the Olive Cine. Good seats. Does Creve Ceour have good seating?

Eh? chris just posted after you asking about the seating. I thought the seats were better over at Creve Coeur vs. West Olive, only because Creve Coeur is a much newer theatre.

Creve Coeur 12 and West Olive 16 are owned and operated by the same people so they are very similar to each other. The Creve Coeur 12 is at least five years newer though so its not showing its age like West Olive 16.... (i.e. CC12 tends to be cleaner)
Keith
10-15-2003, 05:11 PM
you comin Matt?
Chris

Cool. Where is the Creve Ceour one then, going North on 270?

Take I-270 to I-64 Eastbound. Exit on Lindbergh...head north. Exit from there to Olive...head west. You'll see the Macaroni Grill on the right, and the threatre behind it.
Anyone know the movie times over there?

I'm not sure yet.... I brought it up with Dana, and we're still in discutions. She's not really a late night person so I'm not sure if she will want to be out that late. But she really wants to see the movie so I may be able to convince her. (or if she doesn't want to stay out I may see if she would be willing to to just do dinner and not see the movie)
From what I can find online it seems that 7:35 is the latest showing at Creve Coeur 12, so I think it might have to be West Olive unless my info is wrong.

Well it seems dinner and the movie are out for me tonight... Dana's not feeling well so I'm going stay in and take care of her. Hopefully we will make it to an event soon. (Earlier evening or on weekends are better for us, Dana doesn't like to go out late when she has to be up early for work in the morning)
Keith
10-15-2003, 09:03 PM
No prob Matt... wait a minute.. isn't she the younger half? She should want to stay out late! :P
LudeAutoXer
10-15-2003, 10:26 PM
Yeah, she is the younger half.... but she is a morning person, not a night owl like me.

It was a damn good movie, except the coma scene part, that just really creeped me out. The rest was pretty cool. I saw it last saturday and I think I'm seeing it again this weekend. Last night I was in bed from 8pm til this morning, felt like crap so that's the reason I didn't go last night.

I thought the anime scene on O-Ren Ishii/Cottonmouth's past was oddly placed, but yeah, that coma scene was creepy. Being a fan of swordfighting in movies (esp. Japanese swordfighting), the 5th chapter of the movie was sweet! Heck, even the scene with the room of Katanas in all kinds of styles (I kinda like the greenish one right above the one she looked at :D) made me drool.:omg:
