There is that Stlsr meet at Lightspeed I was just wondering if anyone wanted to check it out. I would like to go to see the changes made to lightspeed. I figured maybe we could do some Royal Chinesse bbq then check it out. I am craving their Ice Tea(Cdawg knows what I'm talkin about)

For those of us who don't have an STL account, this is what is says...

Ok guys this last year we have had some major ups and downs. Many of us have experienced the "stigma" put on street racers by the media and the police. We have grieved the loss of a few good friends. We have given thanks for those that survived some severe crashes. Some of us have dealt with the turmoil of bad relationships and personal experiences. Others have agonized over the end of close friendships. And we all have witnessed our fair share of drama.

But in the end we all end up right back here together....

Well as the leaves start to fall and the temperature starts to drop we all find it harder to get together with the ones we call "friends"...

So on OCT 25th we will be having a meet at LIGHTSPEED HI-PERFORMANCE at 8314 OLIVE…..The meet will begin at 7pm and go into the evening hrs. John has offered to provide some food and drinks and possibly a heated tent area to address the chance of cold weather.

John has expressed that he would like to meet all of you in hopes of establishing a new positive relationship with the members of STLSR and the STL import scene.

Some of you may have had negative experiences with LIGHTSPEED in the past and John would like to personally apologize for any hardship or misfortune you may have faced due to miscommunication, scheduling, parts availability, or mishaps that occurred at his shop. He would also like to extend his deepest regrets for the actions taken by some individuals during their employment at LIGHTSPEED. He hopes that with recent changes to his staff and facility you will find your next experience at LIGHTSPEED a positive one. To better serve you John has not only made changes to his staff, but installed 2 new lifts and anticipates arrival of a 2 wheel DYNO by next spring.

LIGHTSPEED strives to be a leader in the ST.LOUIS market and understands that it is “YOU” the customer that comes first.

So as we put another race season behind us let’s all forgive our misfortunes and look forward to a FRESH START…

Id like to encourage all new members of STLSR to attend so that you have the opportunity to meet other members you have already begun to establish long lasting friendships with.
There is plenty of parking available for those that want to ‘STRUT THEIR STUFF' but many spectators may have to find alternative parking in the surrounding shopping centers.

THANK YOU
BIG ROB

First, I am very impressed by this thread. It shows quite a bit of maturity and customer service. I am definitely interested in going but maybe at a different time than the STLSR club. What do you guys think?

I was gonna go regardless of what you think.:P I wouldn't set a time quite yet as to when we're going, since we don't know low long we'll be doing installs all day, but we can just tentatively say we'll try to head out to it, after some grubbin' at Royal Chinese first.:)

I might head over there with ya. If nothing else, just to check it out -- If I don't like it, I can always just leave, and get some Saki up the street at Nobu's. ;)
