James went to this event last year and for 40$ it's a steal (especially when you don't have to drive your own car!). I think I'm in. Anybody else?

That's stupid, 18 or older...looks like i get to sit out for another event.

Why is that stupid? They don't want 16 yrs to smash their cars. :P

Speaking of events that you had to sit out, where the hell where you yesterday? You said you were coming so I reserved the table for a specific number.

Haven't decided yet. I'll probably do it again (did the '03 RevItUp).

Well, when you try out the cars, ala like the GM event, you're not supposed to speed, and/or drive aggressively. They boot people out of the event just for doing that...and you're out $40. No fun to drive it at pedestrian speeds. As for the competition itself, the training is decent, but when I competed in the Mazda 6s, they drove like boats, even with improved tires (Azenis) and suspension. You do get practice runs, but they're on "stock" cars. So, driving dynamics on the competition cars are obviously different. Also, you only get 2 competition runs. I dunno, I'm not very motivated to sign up for it...maybe in a month, I might more likely sign then after I hear comments from other people around the country.
