If you are thinking of doing the track day, register soon! If you’re doing the “show” portion, there is registration for that as well.

I’m going to reserve a room soon, and will PayPal for the track day in a few days (Jen, are you still in?). If anyone is interested in going, please let me know, or post here.

James, are you going for the whole meet and how much money are we talking for the weekend, hotel and all?

I'm thinking about going up with them. I'm planning on spending around $350-$400 WITHOUT the trackday.

Wow that's quite a bit. To run on our track day, it's less than half as much and it's in our own backyard.

Yeah, I was hoping that it would be a bit cheaper. I wasn't planning on doing the track thing anyway but I still wasn't looking to spend anywhere near that much.

You do know that you can get a CF hood for that cost, right Cory?

Yes, but everytime you guys go out of town i stay behind and acutally want to go and do something for a change, and would like to meet a few members off of po.com... I got 2 jobs now and my bday is coming up next month and im thinking just maybe i can pull off the cf hood and the NPM and those will be my summer "mods".

If you think about it that doesnt cost that much, lodging, gas, food, Show day, entertaimnet for 3 night in PA, And im over estimating the cost because i want to be sure that i have enough.

The track day itself is $85 (until Feb. 14, when it goes up to $90 I believe). It's half the cost of Phil Wicks school, but the cost of gas going out there and back, hotel, food, etc. does add up. I'm not just going there for the track day...I'm going there to meet ALOT of Prelude owners, AND meet some of the pre-PreludeOnline 'Lude owners that I've known since back in 1999, and those I've met from the last NPM.

So James, what kind of money should be budgeted for this trip? The almighty dollar will determine whether or not I can go.

Cory

prolly $485 total if you do track day thats being on the safe side of course you will prolly come home with extra money depending on how much beer you buy. ask james he might have figured it out better then i have since he works with money. That is just what i figured it would cost.

Well, if I went I'd need someplace to stay. I don't care where I crash at. I just need about 3 square feet of space to be content.

So if I take Cory's estimate of $485 and subtract the $85 for the track day, which I won't be doing, then we're down to $400. I guess that doesn't sound too bad. When does everyone need to know who's going and who's not?

If I go I could use a co-pilot Julie. So Jen, what would be the cost of a room if you had 3 roomies plus yourself?

I thought it over and with a little outside assistance, I've decided that I should definitely go. Anyone else decided to go recently? I'm looking for someone that has some space in their room or someone to room with me.
