Deleting posts

How come I can't delete my posts in the "Edit/Delete Post" option. I could when the board first went up, but it seems to be disabled. Now I get a "you don't have permission" screen. This is usefull and I totally don't understand why I can't go and delete a post I made. I just made one and realized that I miss read the original thread making my response pointless, but all I could do was go back and change the text to "never mind".

I totaly agree. Every member should be able to delete there own post! There is no harm there!

If I can get it to allow deletion only if you are the last post on the thread I will do so. I'd rather not have people deleting their message when they are somewhere in the middle of a thread just because they don't like what they said. The thread will seem disjointed. At least if they edit it out it will have an (edited on: xxxx-xx-xx) tag that will show the change date.

I though you were thinking about buying one, then I noticed that it was the for sale forum, and you were just offering to anyone that wanted one. It kind of made my response a little dumb.
