Ahhh man, i think my ludes sick, again !
Ok here goes the story guys......
Three months ago when i was driving around my battery light would light up and everytime i stopped at a red light or stop sign my gauges a the whole instrument panel used to get very dim, as if the car was gonna shut off...so i read all these articles on the web about it and figured that it was my battery that need changing, so i bought a brand new battery, everything worked fine, and after a couple of weeks thw car wouldnt start so i had to boost it everytime ! so i bought a new alternator, and everything worked perfectly again....UNTILL....last night i was cruising around with my friends and i wanted to tease them by reving up, so i rev'd up to like 5500 and saw my battery sign light ip for a second, i was like WTF ! then again just to make sure i was dreaming i rev'd up again and saw the freakin sign again....my friends told me to relax and that its probably some wiring error..i didnt rev up my car anymore that day, untill tonight. I was driving home on 401 doing like 120 at around a normal 3000 rpm and sawthe battery light shoe up again....i got pissed..then the next thing you know my headlights and whole interior lighting started to dim on and off, so i let go of the gas and dropped to 100, but it was still on...(at this moment i was getting attacked from every lane by riced up civics and other bs wannabes) that made me even more mad...i safely got home and didnt rev up too high anymore and the battery light went on and off everytime i revd past 2500 rpm...i cant think of anything that could be the problem, if you guys could give me any answers, suggestions, comments i would greatly appreciate it, and sorry for the big a$$ letter i just wrote.
thx alot, i hope i can get some help :(

sounds somewhat similar to what happened when my g/f's alternator went.

That could be it. If so, you're looking around the 150-200 dollar range for the repair.

Yeah, it could be the ignition.. when you're driving, does the engine ever cut out? And when your car won't start, is it because theres no juice to turn the starter, or will the engine not catch?

I had this problem where I had to boost my car almost every day to start it. But the problem just went away itself so I assume it's the battery.

So what would be the problem is the engine didn't catch as oppose to no just to the starter? I have this problem once in awhile.

From the first few sentences i would've said your car is haunted

Try tracing your positive cable to make sure that it isn't grounding out anywhere. This problem will cause these symptoms. If it is grounding out, it will probalally be between the battery and the starter where it isn't fused. This happened to me in the past with one of my trucks. I went through a starter and alternator before I found the problem. If that is not the case ,sorry it could be alot of things. New doesn't always mean good. Good luck, hope you find the problem...
