Front end rattle, over sharp bumbs.....anyone know what it could be?? control arm bushings? ball joint? or strut bushing?? anyone have this problem?? 74,000KMs on the Lude, its my buddy's

i have a 97 SH and i got my ball joints replaced...

Some of the 97's and early 98's, but not all, were recalled.

There is also a TSB for the ATTS heat shield. It rattles at a specific rpm and the cure is simply to install a washer. I had this one.

thanks, i will keep that in mind too....but he said it was doing it over a "sharp bump"....so im guessing ball joint....im going to call right now to see how much that part is...

i had that one too. Rick just took off the heatshield for me..
