i couldn't believe that when i saw it on aol....I am starting a Roth IRA and my mom left me a note to go put in my money now while the market is down, that's actually how i first knew what happened. It's scary when you have to think twice about using any kind of public transportation.

It was 4 bombs, the other 3 were the metropoliton police using a disruptor on suspicious packages. Anyways this isnt really a surprise mass transit has been a soft target for years. All the media is talking about madrid and moscow and forget the tokyo gas attacks of the early nineties. Its the exact same as the first bomb attack on the world trade center that nobody really bothered to remember.

Kelly's brother lives in London... He works near Soho and lives on the Southwest side near Canary Warf... He was still at work when they starting going off, and as far as I know now may still be there. They basically shut the whole system down. I've been there once and the city absolutely depends on that system. I would go so far to say even more that NYC... It is difficult to imagine how it is functioning at all...

Needless acts of violence like this are "barbaric" indeed. But I will say the same for the one Mr. Bush has been heading up as well. Both cause chaos and do nothing to fix the problem they claim to be against.

Actually it's not so much of either, it's been pretty flat for a couple years... hovering in the middle 10,000...

It's pretty strange that the last thing I remember seeing on FoxNews last night before I went to bed was the ticker at the bottom that said "Terror Threat: Elevated!" and this morning when my TV timer went on at 7:00AM (I have it wake to FoxNews) it was covering the bombings!

It's a shame but just like the experts say it wasn't a matter of if but when they would strike again.

I saw the footage of the bombs going off at the train stations in Italy and it was horrible... I'm sure we'll soon be seeing footage of the bus bomb going off since London has cameras at almost every intersection.

^Hes talking about the market, not your stock. Some stocks are up and some are down, but the market is still about the same.

Personally I would like to see us develop an independence from oil (highly unlikely anytime soon) and just get out of the middle east all together... taking all our money with us... From what I understand it's not the lifestyle that we live that is the problem, but our presence in the middle east that fuels the terrorist agenda.
