Question

On my 01 SE i had no problems with shock knock. Now for about a week I have aftermarket suspention. Is Shock knock still an issue? All seems great for now.
The only problem I have had so far is the drivers seat. I got this little click comming from it under hard acceleration/bump/breaking. This is not new. Anybody else have this?

Never had the click you speak of and from what I understand your shock knock problems (or potential of) are gone with the installation of new shocks.

I had the same thing in my 4th gen, it was a ball in the seat slide rails that was rolling around. All i did was spread some waxy grease on the rail to keep it from hitting the stops. You have to use stuff that is sticky so that in the summer it doesn't "melt" and let the ball start clicking again. I had to remove the seat to get a good angle on the rails.

Is your noise gone? Could be an engine mount...I notice it makes noise when it's cold.

No no. It's from the drivers seat. Happens once in a while when I drive aggresive.

I get a nice creak from the passenger seat....thought it was cuz my wife was there, but it was prompty disproven with a fist..

There are so many noises in my car I have to turn the music up so I dont get all freaked out..

I have huge shock knock.. a cracked screw on my engine mount, right rear bearing is shot.. up... I need a new clutch... anyone wanna be my fairy god mother/father?
