thanks, I think the bike will look good this year with the smoked tail, flush mount turn signals, rear seat cowl, and tinted windscreen.

Nice VFR, I didn't know Honda still made one. I always liked the way the old VFR750 looked in pearl white. Your 800 looks sweet. Your supposed to be able to ride them more upright than a CBR if you want to right? More comfortable for long trips?

Aren't R6's supposed to be as fast as an R1 through the quarter mile now? Either way those things are insane and supposedly the 600's are as fast as Liter bikes form 5 years ago and more nimble right? I've got a lot of respect for you guys that know how to ride these things, it must be a serious rush to go wot on one.

Yes, they still make the VFR. I actually sold my CBR to get this. The CBR was starting to take its toll on my lower back, and I just had enough of it. Its plenty fast for the riding I do, and its a much more comfortable position for me.

Thanks! I dont think mine would touch a new liter bike though. They may have comparable 1/4 mile times due to just being easier to ride(tire not coming off the ground through the first 3 gears). I have heard that the 600s are more nimble throughout real tight turns/courses. On an open road with big swooping turns I'd rather have the R1 though. We just dont have the torque they do. As far as the rush, OH YEA, its way more fun that I ever thought it would be before I rode.

Not my bike, but it looks just the same. Nothing crazy, but I love it. My first bike also.

Al, I really love how those Victory bikes look. Widman has a bunch (where I bought my bike)...I'm a fan of the Hammer. How do they ride?

It rides like a cruiser. Its a nice bike to just cruise around town on. More torque than I know what to do with.
