Motorcycle guys chime in on this... cool or uber gay? It's basically a Segway on steroids... Designed and built by some 18 year old kid...

Operation of the 54.4 kg (120 lb) machine is simple, in fact it's so simple there are no controls except for an on-off switch. To go forward you simply push your body weight forward to tilt the machine. To back up, just lean back on the seat to tilt it backwards and back it goes. The farther you lean, the faster it accelerates. The gyro tells the ECU how much to accelerate and that in turn delivers the proper amount of current to the electric motors, one for each wheel.

How is it "uni"? I see two wheels, that's cheating.

I was thinking the same thing. They should call it fag bike...thats my opinion on it. But I'd still like to ride one for the hell of it:D

what happens when you go over a bump and your body weight gets thrown backwards?

does the thing slow down all of a sudden and chuck you off the front?

Have any of you guys ever ridden a Segway? I would imagine that rocking one of these would be very similar. I got to drive a segway for about 10 minutes and was really surprised how intuitive and easy it was to pick up.

Clearly I don't think this is any possible replacement for a traditional bike, but if I was into motorcycles I would not mind giving this a try. I think it looks like it could be fun. Would I take in on the highway? No friggen way... but as a neigborhood toy, ohh yeah....
