Haha, nice, but a little too bright for my liking. By the way, I thought you hated vista?

I didn't realize there was that much flexibility with the start bar on XP. I'm on XP too..... How did you get it to look that way?

Jonathan

WindowBlinds. It skins all windows, not just the start bar.

Any issues with speed? Does it suck any power?

Varies per theme, per machine. I have no problems, but I'm also running a quad core cpu...

So dual quads shouldn't be a problem? :P Cool ****, I might have to check some of them out...

I get a lot of themes by J.J. Ying, he does some really clean, badass stuff (like the one above).

I thought xp can read up to 3gb of ram?

Most 32bit operating systems can only support up to about 3gb, depending on the software and hardware of the system, it could vary from like 2.75gb to 3.5gb. But I'm sure I will be corrected very soon...

Well...yes and no. By default it's 2gb, but you can edit the boot ini to make it support 3gb. However, I wouldn't buy 2x512s to get that extra 1gb, I'd be buying another 2x1gb or more if I switched to an os that could support *gb of ram. So it's not cost effective for me to do it. I'll just buy it later when I'm forced to switch OSs, or I find one that is on par with how I have xp setup.
