Hello!

Just thought I'd liven up this New Members Section a little. I'm not from STL but have always had the idea in the back of my head of moving there. I'm looking to travel there in a few months and was looking for some local sightseeing places to visit. No better place to ask than a car forum!

Anyways, my name is Adam and I have an addiction. An addiction to my beloved prelude. I've been a member on PO.com (MNludeDVR) for years, you probably don't know the name as I never really posted much. I live in MN but like I said before, I've always heard great things about STL. I drive a boosted 4th gen lude painted Nighthawk Black Pearl and have spent way too much money on it over the years.

Here are a few recent pics. First two are without sideskirts on, last one is with skirts on.

Welcome! I think I recognize the username

Your Prelude looks great and I love those hood pins/fasteners. You need to move down here so we can have another sharp lookin' Prelude in the community. ;)

Mod list please!

Thanks for the comment! Just finished the exterior and the go fast parts this summer after 3 years of building. It's a full Kaminari lip kit.

I was hesitant on cutting up a brand new Seibon CF hood for the pins, but it was soooo worth it now! I eliminated the stock hood latch since my IC was too large so I had to get something in it. If I were to list every mod, we'd all be here until next year, so I'll just list the basics!

sleeved h22a1 block (CP's and Manley rods)
ported and built h22a4 head (crower)
Peakboost Ver1 mani
GT3076R .82
Tial BOV/WG
3" exhaust with vibrant muffler
Everything except for the turbo mani was fabb'd in my buddies garage
Boost/Water temp/Oil press gauges mounted in dash behind tinted plastic piece (4th gen's know what i'm talkin about!)
Neptune RTP
GC/Koni's
etc...

Put down 422whp at 19psi dropping to 17 on a DynoDynamics last summer. Since then I've thrown stock cams back in waiting to get retuned in a week or so.

Excellent! I've never been to St. Louis before so thank you for giving me some ideas! I definitely want to hit the arch and the brewery tour.

Thanks for the compliments guys! If I did come down to visit, I'd probably take the g/f's camry, but we'll see!

You guys are so welcoming! Such a nice forum to be a part of.

I'm surprised James hasn't asking you about the auto-xing pictures. :D

Have you done any track days? One thing that's great about STL is that we have a track right outside the city (Gateway International Raceway) where other cities you have to travel hours away to participate in any track events.

Those are some seriously impressive numbers. Have you upgraded the block to support that much power?

No track days as I just started into the auto-x type stuff to get some seat time. This car will eventually be a time attack/road course type car so being so close to Gateway would be awesome. I'm not looking to seriously compete yet, but maybe one day. Cage/seats/harnesses are going in this winter :)

I have upgraded the block with AEBS sleeves so I could run CP pistons with the Manley rods.

Wow... I hope you have another car to drive around after you install the cage + seats + harness!
