Put in my HID a few months back and never got around to taking pics. Here are some during the day with the "brights" on and you can tell there is no comparison.

Wow... that's pretty cool. I didn't know they made HIDs for bikes. Did you notice a huge difference in visibility at night?

yea, its REALLY bright. I bought the 5000k so its a pretty crisp white. The low beam alone gives more visibility than I have in my truck with two bulbs and fogs, haha.

I imagine having bright lights is a neccesity on a bike, looks nice.

How many oncoming motorists have you blinded with those things?

JK, where and how did you mount the ballasts for those? The ones I'm using are pretty bulky...

My kit had the new slim/sleek ballast that is about the size of a small wallet I would say. I mounted it to a bracket behind a fairing. You cant see anything on mine other than 1 inch of two wires coming out of the headlight housing. Otherwise it looks stock.

Looks nice mark. What's the deal with that tribal-esk part on the gas tank? Is that stock?

That's so your belt buckle doesn't scratch up your tank. They are not typically oem items.

true dat! I dont neccessarily love the look of them but they definitely do their job. Some of my friends dont have them and the tanks all have little scuffs from belt buckles, zippers, etc.

my tank is all scuffed up from my buckle, and I don't care. Still better than having a big poop on your tank.

haha, I actually just went out and pulled it off. It does look alot better. You can buy the clear ones that are a thin film that covers the area. Might do that in the future.
