Was driving to the baseball game earlier and saw all you guys on 44 going somewhere. Saw the sticker on the white Prelude I see driving around Ballwin along with that white S2000 occationally.

My name is Jordan if you couldn't guess.

Used to have an Integra GSR with a bunch of random stuff done to it. I hit a deer and it turned from Milano redpink to 3 different colors (white bumper and black hood). Sold that. I've been driving my brother's old RSX Type S. He might be getting his act back together to take payments back over so I might get an old Accord sedan to just drive so I can afford another motorcycle.

I work at the Honda dealer in Ellisville as a "tech" but got laid off on Friday sooo I'm looking for other dealerships now.

Welcome! So you used to work at Stephen Vincel? We (Ali who has the white Prelude) and I live down the street off Reinke. :) I'm the one with the S2000...

Anything done to the RSX?

Yea I work there. I've seen her a few times driving and heard about you after mentioning how I saw a clean Prelude driven by a girl on Manchester to a buddy.

RSX has an Injen intake I put on, I got a IM gasket sitting around I haven't got around to putting on. It's just basically stock.

Edit: I don't mean that bad by saying anything about a girl, just how the subject came up. I did hear you have some nice nice parts tho
Edit 2: I lived with my parents off Reis and Essen pretty much up until several years ago when they moved out to Pacific.

Random pictures of stuff I've had:

http://upshizzle.com/gallery/albums/October_2008/2bike.jpg
06 CBR600RR - LOVED it
Pirelli Diablo Corsa 3 tires, Vortex sprockets -1/+2, frame sliders, fender eliminator, tinted windscreen, maybe some other things I forget
Got stolen from my work - while I was there...
Now I'm into motorcycles and will get another.

CRX I bought from a customer (1 owner, every time getting gas was documented) who came into work with a blown engine. Replaced the engine. Drove it for a bit. Totalled it (driveable). Sold it for more than I had in it. Then the guy I sold it to got rear ended and the whole car from behind the doors was unrecognizable.

Recently sold this. Had for 3.5 years. Long list of odds and ends done to it. Looked that way after hitting a deer and finding a front end for cheap.

Miata I had a long time ago. Fun car, very girlie tho.

What I've been driving.

Nothing fancy but that's pretty much a retrospect into the last 7 years of cars I've had.

Nah. I think once my brother gets his finances straight I'm gonna let him take payments back over so I can use that money to buy another motorcycle. Riding was honestly one of the most fun things to do, even if it's just a short trip or you weren't even pushing it. I just got to get another one.

For a car, I'm actually planning to buy an SUV off my buddy's parents with a bad engine and replace the engine and drive it.

I didn't know I was 'famous'... :P

Nice list of cars you had there! How did you like working for Vincel? They've had a S2000 CR for awhile there... I would imagine that you would come across a lot of good deals on cars while working there. Is the RSX a Type-S or base?

The RSX is a Type S.

And I liked working there. Sales numbers are down and lately shop numbers haven't been picking up the slack of other departments so I got the temperary cut. Assuming I don't find another job within the next few weeks I'll be back there. There are a few good deals that come thru, but it can be harder to snag them up before others do. I've learned a lot from working there in only 2 years now, although it's my first shop job so I'd be soaking in a lot anywhere.

They have a yellow CR still in the showroom. I assume the white one sold a while back because it's been gone for months now.

I bought a couple S2000 parts from some Vincel employees before... One was Tim (I think) who works in the body shop and another one was Warren who used to work for Vincel... do these names ring a bell?

How do you like the Type-S? I've always been curious on how the RSX Type-S drives compared to the Prelude.

Tim in the body shop does. Warren I don't think I've met, I want to see I've heard the name mentioned but I could just be making that up.

And the RSX is nice. It's a lot nicer and more refined the Integra was. You'd be suprised how few Preludes come into work. Most that do are beat up. So I can't really compare them too well. The RSX is more open than the Preludes I've driven. It handles fairly well for a FWD Honda, engine has more midrange torque (relative in Honda terms) than the Integra and other B-series I've driven, seats are wider than me but more supportive than older models but not as good as 06+ Civic SIs or S2Ks, has 5 cupholders compared to 2 crap ones that barely hold a soda can in the Integra. Overall it's a nice car. Given a choice, I'd opt for the 05/06 RSXs because they updated and changed a big list of things

yep, Prelude belongs to me. Probably didn't look so nice if you saw it over the winter months, lol....it actually gets laughed at then.

I was shopping for an RSX-S back when I bought my Prelude actually. The biggest downfall on the RSX for me was that I definately wanted white, but wanted a black/dark interior too. They were also newer and pricier back in 04 when I bought the lude. I too am curious how they drive in comparison to the Prelude.

Welcome to the site!

I'd almost compare the Integra to RSX switch like comparing an AP1 to AP2 S2000. The biggest obvious difference is going to be the RSX is a completely redesigned model where the S2000 went through a mid-model update but the idea is the same. The AP2 has more little amenities to it that make it nicer, engine has more streetable power but doesn't lose the fun.

It's still a sharp looking car everytime I've seen it.

And I wished the white had a black interior too but my brother bought the car for himself originally.

You guys are welcome to drive it sometime. I share haha

Welcome to the board!

I ordered my 2001 Type SH from Vincel. Still have it and still love it! That one purchase changed my life - literally. All of my friends that I talk to on a daily basis came about because I bought that car.

Welcome Jordan, nice cars and sweet bike. I always tell myslef if I'm going to get a bike, its going to be a CBR 600 but I just don't think as good on two wheels as I do four. Are you going to get another CBR?

I had a Milano Red 94 GSR back in 97 when I was 18. Its an outstanding car to learn on - very hard to get it wrong on the twisties and really didn't feel fwd until pushed on. I drove a RSX S in 02 when they came out. The LSD was nice, but it kind of came on abruptly in the few corners I took it through and seemed to push the car wider than were I was steering. The teggy didn't seem to do that - sounds weird but it felt like if I lined things up just right, there would be a hint of wheelspin that helped rotate the car better. I also didn't care for the seating position that seemed to be higher up in the cabin, and I believe Honda went to Macpherson struts on all 4 corners on the RSX but I never drove one hard enough to feel a difference. The K20 and 6spd are obviously MUCH better than the GSR's set up, and probably made it necessary to have an LSD.
