I used to photograph racing, be it auto, motorcycle, or sailboats.
I used to be a reporter for a weekly motorcycle paper.
Oh yeah, I worked as a wrench in a motorcycle shop and fixed my cars when they broke!
I am back in college working on a BFA in photography, my "day job" pays the bills but I am approaching retirement and am doing something I want to rather than have to.
I don't have any Hondas, I am looking for something to tinker with though.
I am always looking to shoot photos and love to shoot cars. I don't suspect I'll post much, don't have that much to say and momma told me you ain't learnin nothing if you mouth is open...
:D
Thanks for letting me stop by and say hi

I used to shoot Nikon for film [ F1 ], I switched over to digital and have found Canon fits my wallet best right now.
I am considering a newer 5D, there have been some package deals on the newest 5D of late. I am not so much into the video side of things so these new cameras with video included are not so much my cup of tea.
I am getting a studio with 2 other photographers right now, we are deciding if we want to include a small gallery.
I'll see if I can get some of my film stuff scanned when we are back in school. I have some digital shots from kart racing and some from a US Grand Prix as well. I have a couple shots of a 42' Baja with 3 454 engines.
I'll put them on my hosting site and put the urls here, just not today.
thanks for the welcome

Welcome, we would all love to see some of your work. There are a few photographers here already (Keith being one) and they always enjoy 'talking shop' with each other.
You are an IT Systems Manager for what company? Any chance you're hiring? :)

Thanks.
My company is hiring, all you have to do is move to India.:shake:
I had 25 people in my team a year ago, now it is 9 people here with the balance in India.
My wish is to make it to the "magic number" before they lay me off.
Shoot me a PM and let me know what you are looking for, type of experience etc etc... I have friends who have friends.

why does everyone hate on 35mm? I have a 1975 Minolta MTC that shoots better color than most digital.

I like film, I shoot a Canon Rebel 35mm. One of the reasons I went back to school was to have access to a darkroom and processor. I love black and white more than color depending on what I am shooting.
I have a shot of race control at the USGP from a few years back, not sure if it is of interest, seen one race control pretty much seen them all....
