Civic Shift Boot Install???

just wondering if any of you guys have or know how to install a shift boot on a Civic (i assume if you've done one on the Lude it's the same)...the reason i ask is that my gf wants a blue one for her 99 Civic and i was curious as to how easy it'd be for me to install...what are the steps? and are most boots universal for most cars?

Shouldn't this be in technical?

Remove center console
Remove old staples that hold the old boot down
(if you carefully remove them with pliars, you can reuse them)
Replace boot with new one
Install everything back

Easy as that!
