Hey guys,
I don't live in STL, but I go there every so often. I live in Kansas city, and go to school there. Anyways, just thought I would stop by and formally introduce my self!:)
oh, I drive a '98 Prelude SH with some mods. Nothing special, but it gets me to where I need to go!

Inspired, any future plans on your Prelude?
As of now, I won't be doing anything to the car. School is occupying all of my time right now.
However, I still have my future mods list, and hopefully everything should go through as planned.
Future mods:
-Replace Timing Belt & Manual Tensioner Conversion. Has 170k, so needless to say, I need to do this ASAP
-OEM Carbon fiber interior trim
-S2000 Steering Wheel. I can't stand the stock BB6 wheel. I don't know how to explain the feeling, but I feel like I am driving a Peterbuilt. Hahah.
-New OEM bushings all around
-Type-S Induction system. Uber rare. I doubt I will ever find one.
That's really about it as far as future plans go. Everything else I am content with.
A little back story on my decision of buying a BB6:
Before this car I had an Accord. And my plans for the Accord were simple, but expensive; 5-lug conversion and H22 swap. Then I thought to myself, hey, why would I go through all the troubles of doing that, when I could just buy a 5th gen with all those goodies equipped and more? So, that's what route I took, and haven't looked back since. I absolutely love this car. Handles like a champ and gets good MPG!

On your mods...my comments:
-Your timing belt is the same timing belt when the car was new? If not, when was it changed last?
-You should also get the JDM carbon fiber gauge cluster. :)
-Nice mod...I have the DC5 (JDM ITR Type R) steering wheel myself (same size as the s2000). You're right about the Prelude's steering wheel, felt like driving a school bus to me :p
-That would be a PITA to do, but be nice to have it done
-Do you mean Type S intake? If so, both Keith and I had that awhile back. I switched to the AEM CAI, and never looked back.

Oh god no! The belt's been replaced at 80k. LOL! I would have stopped driving the car completely until a new belt is on there.
Yep, JDM CF cluster is also would I would like to add. Pretty pricey, though! $100. I am going to wait til I find one used for a bit cheaper.
ITR Wheel is nice also. My friend has one on his CB7.
I know that the Type-S doesn't do so well in HP gains compared to an aftermaket intake, but I love the look of the Type-S intake. It has the OEM look to it which I am after.
Do you know after how long the ATTS fluid needs to be changed? I think mine still has the original fluid in there.

According to the manual, every 110,000 miles. I typically change mine every 60-80,000 miles. Since you don't recall if it's been changed (if ever), I'd change it as soon as you are able. It's not too hard, but you'll need a hose and funnel to refill the fluid. Draining it is like draining the oil. It has its own plug.
