Maintaince Required Light???

When is the normal time the warnign light come on for maintaince????

Is it bad when the yellow light comes on?????

It's nothing to worry about, It's sopposed to come on like every 12000 km. When it's red time for the scheduled maitanance. If you want it to go away now just stick your key in the slot were your cluster is. The light just serves as a reminder that's all.

So u are saying that i shouldn't take it for maintaince and just wait til the red light comes on?

I just don't want to mess up my engine like Bakachoi's friend is doing to his si!!

I can't tell you what you should do. All I'm saying is what the light means. But if you must know then if it was me I'd do the maitanance now depending on what type. If it's like a Type 1 or 2 I'd do it on my own. If 3 I'd take it to the shop. Like I said. If I were in your shoes I wouldn't wait. Then again I don't follow the book. I do every oilchange with synthetic and respective Type avery 5k km maximum. Your better of being safe than sorry.

Btw, that isn't a light, just a plastic slider that moves over according to the odometer. Do your maintenance according to how and where you drive, cold/hot, a lot of VTEC.. Don't depend on a light/indicator to tell you when to do it.

yep, you should know your maintenance record and just go accordingly. The red light thing just goes by the odometer and doesn't meaning that your car is experiencing some massive failure.....it's just a reminder.

Don't forget the numbers I was refering to were on KMH. Since you guys use MPH they will be less. Read your owners manual. It's all there.
