I took my car to DPE this saturday to try and do a part throttle tune to make it a little easier to drive while it's breaking in. I ended up screwing up quite a bit. I think I did just about everything wrong. I just managed to walk out of there with a slightly better tune than when I walked in. It was a learning experience and it shouldn't take me more than an hour to do a good tune when my engine is broken in in a few weeks. Then another hour after the turbo is on.
Giulio (Silver98) was there and he took this video of a 2000 rpm run.

I knew AEM was going to be in town demoing their new Engine Management System, but it was invite only and I couldn't find out when and where. It happens that just after my dyno session at noon, the AEM guys started coming in and setting up there stuff. Giulio and I hung around for a few hours and watched most of the seminar. It was very interesting. I wont go into the technicals of it, cuz I'm sure most people don't care, but it's a very nice EMS and it's going to take off big time.
Here's some vdeo of the AEM seminar. The guy in the gray sweater is supposedly head of R&D at AEM, and the guy in the yellow...I have no idea who he's supposed to be.

Thanks to Giulio for coming out to give me a hand. I'm jealeous of his yellow Protege5 and my silver one just look dull and drab in comparison.
