FS: Braille lightweight race battery

With the Prelude down for awhile, no point in me keeping this battery, but hope someone can make use of it on a roadcourse or autocross event.

Braille lightweight racing battery, 11.5 lbs

Here's the specs:
--904 pulse cranking amps
--True deep-cycling ability
--Heavy-duty vibration resistant power posts
--Acid-free technology

If I can find the mount for it, I'll give that to you too. I used it for one autocross season. Brand-new, it was around $150. I'm selling it for $100 firm. PM or email me if you're interested.

Re: FS: Braille lightweight race battery

I'm interested, James. Any reason why this wouldn't work in an S2000?

Let me know if you can find the mounting kit.

Re: FS: Braille lightweight race battery

It would work in an S2000 David. I have the Big Crank version in my car during the track season (exact same thing with the Braille name for more than 1/2 the cost) and it worked fine all last year. James, did you get the Braille mounting kit?

Re: FS: Braille lightweight race battery

I don't believe that I did, mainly because I was able to use my own mounting kit that I made when I had gotten another race battery years back. I can give you that if you want, and the plastic Braille bracket, which I thought was useless.

Re: FS: Braille lightweight race battery

I think so, but I'm a bit confused about the mounting. Will I be able to secure this in the S2000 without buying extra parts?

Re: FS: Braille lightweight race battery

I'm going to assume the "extra parts" I have would work. Or, we can do a test fitting sometime and have Keith meet up with us as well. Let me know when is a good evening for us to meet.

Look at James, volunteering my time for me!

David, I'm sure we could rig a way to get it to stay put in your car...
